Soroa, also known as the Rainbow of Cuba, is a privileged place for the conservation of the richness, variety and excellence of its flora and fauna. Among its main attractions are the largest orchid garden in the country, as well as a spectacular 22-meter high waterfall that invites you to take a refreshing bath at any time of the year. Trails are essential options for nature lovers. Travelling through forests with exuberant vegetation and fauna, listening to the singing of birds in their natural environment and bordering rivers make these tours a unique experience that allows you to be in direct contact with nature.

Path Ruins of coffee plantations, alternative route, in which you will have the opportunity to make a physical activity of average level that unites to the knowledge of the surroundings, will know on of our flora and fauna, since the region is characterized to count on more than 100 species of birds, 25 species of reptiles, but of 20 species of butterflies and variety of plants with therapeutic and medicinal properties. We will visit the ruins of several coffee plantations and the possible quarries from where they extracted the stones to make these constructions. At the end you will be able to take a comforting bath after a tiring day.

Itinerary

  • Welcome cocktail reception and entertainment by a musical group at the Pool Bar of the facility. Brief explanation of the tour.
  • 1st Stop: Explanation of the historical evolution of the "Neptune" coffee plantation
  • 2nd Stop: Ruins of the coffee plantation "La Merced".
  • 3rd Stop: La Ceiba is one of the oldest trees in the area, over 650 years old, revered and sacred to the Afro-Cuban religion. Explanation of the traditional medicine project wild pineapple plantation.
  • 4th Stop: Crossing the Bayate River. Rest time of 5 minutes.
  • 5th Stop: Ruins of "La Esperanza" coffee plantation and "Cafetal Independencia" coffee plantation.
  • 6th Stop: Explanation of the "Turquino-Manati" Mountain Plan.
  • 7th Stop: Natural swimming pool "El Caimito", with time for swimming on request.
  • 8th Stop: Slave Quarry.
  • Return to the hotel.
