"Humboldt Park" Tour
The Alejandro de Humboldt National Park was included by UNESCO in its World Heritage List in the category of Natural Site. The Park hosts some of the most important natural habitats for the conservation of terrestrial and freshwater biodiversity in Cuba, and is of global importance as one of the most biologically diverse tropical ecosystems on an island setting anywhere on Earth. The rates of endemism of vertebrates and invertebrates found in the park are very high, in which 2% of the flora species of the earth are concentrated, having a flora of 905 endemics, almost 30% of those reported for Cuba.
Description of the program:
- Departure to the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park.
- Entrance to the park and visit to the Balcony of Iberia trail (7 km) where a specialized guide will help you get in touch with virgin nature.
- Visit to a waterfall and swimming in its crystalline waters.
- On the way back, visit to the Maguana beach which has the most beautiful white sands of the area with its coral reef barrier.
- Return to the hotels.
