“Visit to the Canyon of the Yumurí River” Tour
To the west of Baracoa, about 30 km on the road that communicates with the municipality of Maisi is located the Yumurí River which has formed a narrow canyon of 220 meters deep, with walls of about 200 meters high known as The Canyon of the Yumurí River, in this place are located many birds and amphibians, as well as a varied and fantastic vegetation.
On the way to our destination we will stop at the house of the farmer Zoila, where you will be able to taste some of the products she produces from cocoa and coffee. You will also be able to appreciate some impressive views of long black sand beaches and the immense stone that forms a natural tunnel known as Paso de los Alemanes.
When we arrive at the town of Yumurí we will make a walk of 450 meters until the natural viewpoint with magnificent views to this natural place. Returning to the fishing village, if you wish, you can take a cayuca (a traditional boat from Baracoa) and visit a key located in the center of the canyon.
On the way back you can visit, for a stay and swimming time on the beach, the Bay of Mata, a place with a fishermen's settlement with a fabulous view of the bay and possibilities of swimming in the calm waters of the bay.

Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation
