"Colonial Havana by Plane" Tour
Excursion by plane to Havana, declared one of the Seven Wonder Cities of the World in June 2016, has something for everyone. The historic center of Old Havana, which in 1982 achieved World Heritage status granted by UNESCO in recognition of its exceptional universal value, is the highlight of the city and arouses the interest of visitors for the great diversity of its architecture and urban planning, preserved with a high degree of authenticity. Much of its colonial buildings, parks, fortresses have been restored and is a true architectural jewel, in which visitors feel transported to the past.
Planned itinerary:
- Transfer by air-conditioned collective bus hotel - Cayo Largo del Sur airport.
- Air transportation Cayo Largo del Sur - Havana (ATR 72).
- Tour of the José Martí Revolution Square, a factory of the world famous Habanos (cigars), and panoramic tour of the Havana Malecon.
- Welcome cocktail at the Royalton Havana hotel, on the 9th floor terrace, with breathtaking views of the entrance to Havana Bay, with on-site explanation.
- Lunch at the famous and historic Hotel Inglaterra, one of the most emblematic and ancient sites of the city.
- Walking tour through the streets of Old Havana, visiting the 4 main squares of the historical center (Plaza de Armas, Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja and Plaza San Francisco de Asís. Visit to the world famous Bar-Restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio and other buildings of the time, which shows a great historical and cultural value.
- Transfer back to the airport for check-in.
- Air transportation Havana - Cayo Largo del Sur (ATR 72).
- Transfer by air-conditioned collective bus from Cayo Largo del Sur airport to the hotel.
