“El Nicho - Trinidad Overnight“ Tour
El Nicho, is located in the province of Cienfuegos belonging to the mountainous massif of Guamuhaya, also known as Sierra del Escambray, is a paradisiacal place where it combines the green of vegetation, rivers, waterfalls and picturesque villages. The waterfalls and natural pools of El Nicho provide travelers with an ideal place to cool off in the open air. El Nicho is approximately 1.5 hours from both Cienfuegos and Trinidad.
Trinidad, a city full of historical, cultural and patrimonial values where you can discover times, customs and traditions of the old town. It was one of the first Villas founded and declared by the UNESCO Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity.
Details of your trip:
1st Day:
- Coach pick up at the hotels.
- The inclusion of a tour guide.
- In route. stop over at Snack Bar “Fiesta Campesina” (15 min).
- Visit Santa Clara city: Che Guevara Square, Armored Train Monument.
- Lunch in a restaurant in Santa Clara city.
- Continuation of the trip to Trinidad (via Sancti Spíritus).
- Tour of the Trinidad city center: Plaza Mayor, Church, Museum, Casa del Alfarero, Handicraft market. Visit La Canchánchara with a tasting of a typical cocktail.
- Accommodation and dinner at a hotel in Trinidad.
2nd day:
- Breakfast at the Hotel,
- Tour through the Escambray Mountains from Trinidad to the Nicho,
- Tour of the Natural Park: trails, waterfall, natural pools, free time for swimming. Lunch included,
- Departure to Cienfuegos,
- Tour in transit through the city: Prado, Park, Palacio de Valle, with free time for photos in the park,
- Return to hotels with transit stop (15 min)
