"Discovering Central Cuba" Tour
Tour through central and western Cuba, familiarizing clients with the history, culture, customs and traditions of this magical and passionate island.
Details of your trip
1st day:
- Departure by air-conditioned bus, with tour guide service to the patrimonial jewel: Trinidad.
- Panoramic tour of the city of Ciego de Avila and intermediate stop at the Creole ranchón Río Azul.
- Photo stop at the Valle de los Ingenios and visit to the Manaca-Iznaga hacienda.
- Panoramic tour and stop for a walking tour of the historic center of the city of Trinidad, declared a World Cultural Heritage Site.
- Tour of the Main and Real del Jigüe squares and visit to La Canchánchara tavern for a tasting of a typical local drink.
- Lunch at a local restaurant and free time for photos and visit to the handicraft market.
- Lodging in private homes with dinner and breakfast included (MAP Plan).
- Free time in the evening.
2nd day:
- Departure by tourist bus to the natural park El Nicho, located in the province of Cienfuegos.
- Walk along its various trails, with time for photos, observation of the exuberant flora and fauna, and swimming in its natural ponds or near the waterfalls of the El Negro River.
- Transfer to the city of Santa Clara, with a panoramic tour through the center of the town until arriving at the Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara Memorial Sculpture Complex.
- Visit to the memorial and the museum, where the niches that keep the remains of Che and his comrades fallen in the revolutionary struggle in Bolivia are located, as well as a permanent exhibition of photographs and personal objects that constitute a chronological journey through the life and work of the Heroic Guerrilla.
- Free time to take pictures around the square and the tribune.
- Lunch at a local restaurant and return to Coco and Guillermo keys.
TIPS: - Light clothing, sunglasses, hats, tennis shoes, sandals or comfortable shoes, sun protection and camera.
- The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements.
- This excursion operates with no minimum number of passengers. The Agency will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or bad weather conditions, the Agency will offer you an alternative excursion or will fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.
- Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, please print the voucher to present to your tour guide.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion price will be applied.
- For cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours prior to the excursion departure time, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fee will be applied.
- Please note that cancellation within 24 hours and up to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, and in case of no-show, 100% of the excursion price will be deducted.
- Note: no administrative costs or credit card fees can be refunded in case of cancellation.
