“Horseback Riding Through the Valle del Silencio”
Viñales, a small town in the province of Pinar del Río, is the ideal place to admire the beauty of the Cuban landscape. Land of tobacco and rum and in this is the largest cave system in Cuba. Declared Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity in 1999 and National Park in 2001, besides being a National Monument since 1979.
Our proposal is that you live an unforgettable experience of your trip to Cuba, that you know Viñales in a different way discovering the social-cultural values that identify and distinguish the inhabitants of the place, their traditions and customs. The excursion takes place in the afternoon and ends at sunset. The entire route is found riding through the natural charms of the Valle del Silencio.
The tour includes the visit of a farmer who will show you how coffee is processed in a rudimentary and traditional way, in this process you will be able to taste an authentic criollo coffee. You can also drink the exquisite Coco Loco or a natural juice. We continue our journey through the beautiful landscape to visit Capon Lake where we will make a brief stop so you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Once rested we are ready to arrive at the house of a farmer, tobacco grower, in this place you will be able to know the process of cultivation and care of the tobacco, you will see how a real cigar is made by hand, which you will be able to taste accompanied by an exquisite mojito in the style of the guajiros, a perfect mixture to enjoy the sunset to the fullest.
Observations
The excursion can be done at any time of the day, but we recommend the afternoon schedule to be able to see the sunset, in rainy seasons it is recommended that the excursion be done in the morning schedule. The alternatives for this excursion depend completely on whether you prefer to walk or ride. El Valle del Silencio is located 3 kms from the town of Viñales and so a short taxi ride will be required to get to the starting point and another for the return trip.

TIPS: • Light clothing, water, light meals with sweets and proteins, sunglasses, caps or hats, hard tennis shoes, hiking boots or sandals, in addition to layers or other protection for the rainy season, sunscreen, insect repellent and camera.

Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
