“Hiking Tour To Los Acuáticos”
"Los Acuáticos" is a very quiet place in the mountains around Viñales Valley, where today live only two families who have knowledge about the healing effects of water, are people who have their own traditions, habits impossible to describe with words even for the best writer or to print in pictures as best as possible with a camera, everything, totally worth seeing.
We start very early in front of the "Don Tomás restaurant" where we will take a taxi with our local guide to reach the starting point where the walk begins. We will walk about 5 km until we reach "La Comunidad Los Acuáticos". In this place you will be able, from the doorway of a country house, to enjoy an authentic Cuban coffee offered by the local farmer while watching the sunrise from the mountains as well as the incredible views of the "Valle de la Penitencia" and "Valle del Palmarito" covered by a fog, which occurs most of the year.
After enjoying the impressive views of the place and learning a little bit of history about the local people, we will start the return to the town of Viñales, ending up near the Prehistoric Mural approximately 3 hours after the start of the tour. From that point we will take the taxi back to Viñales.

TIPS: • Light clothing, trousers, swimwear, sunglasses, water and light meals with sweet and protein, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots and sandals to cross the river, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.

• In the summer season we are open from 06:30 hrs to 20:00 hrs / In the winter season we are open from 05:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs.

Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
