Program Details
Easter Island is the largest island in Chile and its capital, Hanga Roa, is the only inhabited town on Easter. It is famous for its archaeological sites, including nearly 900 monumental statues called "moai", created by the inhabitants between the 13th and 16th centuries.
We invite you to visit the town of Hanga Roa and its tourist attractions on the mythical Easter Island.
Details of your trip:
- Departure from our hotel in Easter Island to visit the center of the village, where we will find souvenir stores, restaurants and cafes.
- We will visit the Hanga Roa Handicraft Fair, where there is also a small sector dedicated to the sale of local fruits and vegetables.
- We will visit the Archaeological Complex of Tahai, one of the oldest settlements on the island whose earliest remains date back to 700 A.D., it is the largest archaeological center and the best restored of those located in the vicinity of Hanga Roa
- Finally, we will visit the Father Sebastian Englert Anthropological Museum, founded by the priest Sebastian Englert and which preserves a valuable collection of graphic objects and drawings about the Rapa Nui culture.
- Return to our hotel on Easter Island.
