“Camagüey's Religious” tour
Camagüey is a city that had a strong Christian and Catholic spirit during its colonial times. The "Camagüey Religioso" excursion will allow you to get to know this present legacy up to the present day The starting point will be the Plaza de los Trabajadores, where the church and convent of La Merced are located. There you will be able to observe the "catacombs" that have burials from the XVII century.
Afterwards, you will walk along Ignacio Agramonte Street to the Church of La Soledad, with a beautiful building made of precious woods. Continuing along República Street, you will reach the Neo-Gothic Church of the Sacred Heart. Afterwards, you will visit the Salesian and Reparatrice Sisters' schools, and the Cathedral Church where the remains of Monsignor Adolfo Rodríguez, the first Archbishop of Camagüey, rest. We also suggest that you go up to the viewpoint of its tower to contemplate, from the top, impressive views of the colonial centre of the city.
Continuing along Cisneros Street, we will arrive at the Baptist Church, and Hnos. Agüero Street that will take us to the Plaza del Carmen, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, where you can visit the Church of Carmen. At the end, we will have lunch in the "El Paso" palace.

Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
