"Trail of The Cocoa - Cascade of the Duaba" Trekking Tour
This trail is an exquisite and special option to enjoy a completely natural environment, it is accessed from Finca Duaba. It is the first cocoa trail in America. In this tour you will be able to know everything about this delicious product that is part of the local culture. On the tour you will see that cocoa is the sustainable heritage of the people of Baracoa and is the essence of the life of many farmers who are proud to live in the Cocoa Capital of Cuba.
We leave the city of Baracoa to La Finca Duaba, a picturesque place that includes more than 40 varieties of trees, fruits, flowers with highlights of the cocoa plantation. This is the ideal place for an explanation and knowledge of the whole plantation of this fruit as well as its historical features and development in the town.
We continue the tour to the Flora and Fauna National Company Reception Office, where the trip ends by vehicle, from there we continue our journey on foot towards the Duaba River Waterfall, where you can observe the local countryside, the majestic Anvil and birds such as thrushes, dunks, tocororo and parrots. Once at the waterfall we invite you to take a bath in its cold and crystalline waters. We guarantee our clients professional guide services, a fun and interesting excursion and all the safety and protection of their physical integrity.

If the supplier decides to cancel, Holiadventure will offer you an alternative tour or fully refund the cost of your tour. • The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
