"Cienfuegos-Guanaroca Lagoon-Dolphinarium" Tour
The Guanaroca Lagoon is the most important protected area in the province of Cienfuegos, with the category of "Fauna Refuge". It is characterized by being one of the most unique ecosystems in our country, constituting an essential link in the support of marine life in the Cienfuegos bay, southeast of which it is located. It owes its name to an aboriginal legend that takes it as a stage and explains its origin. In its waters find refuge a large number of water birds as they are: Pink flamingos, sea cows, gannets and Florida ducks.
