Jeep Safari “Sierra de Cubitas"
Sierra de Cubitas, a place of singular beauty where you can find many treasures. One of them is the most famous gorge in the Greater Antilles, Los Paredones, with a depth of 40 meters and almost two kilometers long, which gives it a monumental character and separates the hills of Tuabaquey and Limones, the two most important elevations in the region with heights of 330 and 309 meters above sea level, respectively. This area is an Ecological Reserve.
Details of your trip
- Pick up from hotels and drive along the northern circuit.
- Arrival at the crocodile farm with explanation and tour of different areas, enjoy a cocktail and a boat ride on the river.
- Departure to Cangilones del Rio Maximo through rural roads where you can take a swim in its refreshing waters.
- We will take the Los Laberintos trail that goes deep into the karst forms of the Sierra de Cubitas.
- Arrival at the camping facility, stay in the place with the option of riding horses and you can enjoy a lunch with liquid included.
- We continue the tour to the Santa Isabel sugar mill to enjoy a liquid and observe the ruins of an old sugar factory.
- Return to Santa Lucia.
TIPS: • Comfortable clothes suitable for horseback riding, skin protection (long sleeved shirt, pants, boats) bring swimming costume/trunks and a towel, raincoat, sunglasses, cap, solar protection, insect repellent, photographic camera, water bottle and a snack.
• The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements.
• The Jeep must be shared with other tourist (4 pax / jeep).
• Those who wish to drive must bring the driving licence.
• The jeeps have Standard Transmission.
