Old Havana, with its past and contemporary mysteries, and has, as one of the elements that typify it, a peculiar system of fortresses, a legacy through which its history, and that of all Cuba, can be narrated.
The Villa of San Cristóbal de La Habana, was the port of call par excellence of the Spanish fleet, for which it constituted the target of the Corsican and the piracy, it is for that reason that the city needed a system of fortifications that would allow its defense and protection. This begins its construction from 1558 with the Castle of the Royal Force. Later the Castle of the three Kings of the Morro and La Cabaña were joined.
