The growth of the city from 1863 beyond the wall allowed the emergence of the city outside the walls, with the presence of various architectural styles and influences, the hierarchy of buildings, the landscape value of its coastal edge, the width of the streets and the presence of green areas.

The tour includes buildings and sites representative of the neoclassical, eclectic, art-nouveau, art-deco, modern movement and post-revolutionary architecture.
