"TRINI-TOPES" Tour
The Topes de Collantes Natural Park is a unique paradise for lovers of direct contact with nature. It is a place to stop before the existence of a prodigal nature that creates that healthy and purified environment of the pollution levels of modern life, stress and anxiety. It is a mountain village located in the natural park of the same name, is located in the Sierra del Escambray, 800 meters above sea level. You will immediately feel the difference in temperature with an average of 21 degrees Celsius, much cooler than in Trinidad. This mountain climate benefits the production of coffee, whose plantations can be visited while hiking.
Itinerary:
- Pick up from hotels in the Ancon Peninsula or Trinidad in Parque Cespedes, departure to Topes de Collantes by Jeep or mountain truck.
- Visit to the viewpoint to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and the city, cocktail included.
- Visit to the Coffee Museum and explanation of the coffee trail.
- Walk through the tropical forests and coffee plantations of the region.
- Access to the Caburní or Vegas Grandes ecological trail accompanied by an ecotourism guide (3 km of hard walking).
- Lunch at "Mi Retiro" restaurant.
- Return to the pick up points.
