Tour for the observation of terrestrial and aquatic birds of the different ecosystems of the keys, you can observe species of great interest, endemic and in danger of extinction in natural preserved scenarios and of high biodiversity that include the Central West Ecological Reserve of Cayo Coco, the Great Northern Wetland of Ciego de Avila, Ramsar Site and Fauna Refuges.

Areas from the road from the Ranchón de Playa Prohibida to the Jabalí cave and the Loma del Puerto Dunes Trail. Area with more than 80 reported species, 20 endemic taxa among which the Ciénaga cabrerito and the regional endemic species sinsontillo and pechero stand out, colorful endemics such as the green woodpecker and the cartacuba, among other species also in Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Paredón.

In Cayo Coco's Central Western Ecological Reserve, 106 bird species have been listed, and the most important are the green woodpecker (Xiphidiopicus percussus), the swamp goat (Torreornis inexpectata) and the pechero (Teretistris fornsi), all considered endemic genera, which highlights the exclusivity of the region's bird life.
