"Spanish Cooking Lesson" Tour
This tour is designed for people interested in learning more about the history of Spanish cuisine and its presence in Cuba. We propose a masterful presentation on the subject and the preparation and tasting of a cocktail and several classic dishes of Spanish cuisine: Spanish Sangría and the typical dishes of Marinera Clams and Valencian Paella.
The interaction between bartender, cook and client in the preparation of their favorite cocktail and dishes allows for a unique experience.
Description
Cocktail : Spanish Sangría, presentation of the drink and its origin by our bartender. The assistants will follow the process and prepare their own cocktail (Duration 15 minutes)
Entrante: Clams a la Marinera, presentation of the dish by our cook. The assistants must collaborate in the elaboration of the dish: Cut onion to the Jardinera, Peel some garlic dry, Cut the parsley very fine, and Mix Cornstarch and dry wine, (Duration of 20 - 25 minutes)
Main Dish: Paella Valenciana", presentation of the dish by our chef. The assistants must collaborate in the preparation of the dish: Salt and season the meat, Grate tomato, Peel garlic. Our cook will prepare the sauce counting the origin of the dish and giving the attendees participation by adding the ingredients they have been preparing in the order indicated.
The assistants will have lunch or dinner with the dishes that have been prepared.
At the end of lunch or dinner, the house offers a homemade dessert, a national drink and coffee

• This tour operates with a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiadventure will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiadventure will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.

• The presentation including lunch or dinner is approximately 2:30 minutes.
• This tour program covers several locations, depending on space availability and number of customers.
• The program is developed in different locations such as partner restaurants and bars.
• The participating cooks have been members of the Cuban Culinary’s Association for over ten years.
• The participating bartenders have been members of the Cuban Bartenders’ Association for over ten years.
• The cocktails are prepared using three-year aged Havana Club Rum.
• Other cocktails and dishes of interest to the client can be included.
• Drinks consumed outside the menu will be paid separately.
Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
