"City Tour en Santa Clara"

Santa Clara is located in the Central region of the country. It is an important industrial, commercial, service and communication center. It was taken by Commander Ernesto "Che" Guevara in December 1958 during the final stage of the revolutionary struggle led by Fidel Castro against Fulgencio Batista. In this city is the Revolution Square where you can appreciate the sculptural monument erected by Jose Delarra, dedicated to Che. In the Mausoleum that is located in the base of the monument they rest the remains of renowned Guerrilla Heroico from 1997.

  • Vidal Park known as Central Plaza (currently city center, where is located the Theater of Charity declared a national monument in 1982, Museum of Decorative Arts dating from the early 18th century maintains the initial structure, Central Library built in the early 20th century, House of Culture, Radio station, Hotel central and Santa Clara Libre, in the park itself is the sculpture of Marta Abreus de las Villas benefactor of the city, statue of the Child of the Boot, and the central roundabout built in 1911, space reserved for the municipal band, favorite place of the Cubans to enjoy the National Dance Danzón.

  • Parque del Carmen( it is the foundation area of the city, there is also the church of Carmen, the monument of Vaquerito and the monument in honor of the first 13 families to arrive in the city)

  • Che Guevara Sculptural Group; where you will also enjoy the Museum and the Mausoleum of Che.
  • Monument of the Armored Train
  • Loma del Capiro, the highest point of the city, used by Ernesto che Guevara during the capture of the Battle of Santa Clara in 1959.
