"Havana Underground" Bike Tour
Join our bike tours and discover the best of Havana city, we are eager to share with others a more genuine vision of Havana through exciting cycling experiences. Creativity, authenticity, empathy and knowledge are our keys to providing you with a fun and unforgettable experience of Cuba.
On this occasion we propose that you get to know the life hidden from the view of passers-by, we will penetrate the streets of Havana to discover another city. This is the way to learn about the real Cuba, not recorded in the guides, seeing the sights and what is hidden behind them.
Together we will discover Afro-inspired street art, propaganda, 5¢ Cuban coffee and tattoo culture. We will answer why Havana has a Chinatown. We'll talk about street art and tattoo culture, about places to eat cheap food and drink, we'll learn about recent immigrants attracted to the new island, we'll tell you stories about the nightlife on the Malecón and you'll learn about the famous Weekly Package which is the Cuban alternative to watching favorite TV shows and movies without the Internet. At the end, we will go to a bar where only the locals go.
Itinerary
We will ride our bikes from the historical center to the "hipster" area of Havana, visiting cafes, a tattoo shop, Chinatown, Callejón de Hamel and a remnant of a local bar. In addition, we will show a hidden restaurant, the University of Havana, a body art gallery, visit a Weekly Package supplier and more.

Special Notes
- You must have a good experience in cycling in the city. The terrain is a little hilly.
- Children under 18 years of age can attend if accompanied by a legal guardian. The minimum age to participate is 10 years old.
- The guest must have good experience in city cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
- We will have to load our bikes to go up or down a path.
- Guests must be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers (12.4 miles).
- Light colored clothing is recommended.
- You should bring lights for riding at night.
- At the meeting point, we will provide safety equipment and give some instructions for safe cycling.
- The leader will then ask for suggestions to create the route on the spot. He has the mission to design an attractive 1.5 hour route through the city of Havana.
TIPS: • Light and clear clothing, extra water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, comfortable shoes and camera.
• This tour operates without a minimum of passengers. Holiadventure will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiadventure will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
• Our service is collective, it is a guide service for a group of clients.
• No need to present identification (passport or tourist card) for the tour, thus avoiding losses or damage thereto.
• Our bikes are in excellent technical condition.
Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations informed within 48 hours prior to the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at the time of departure), a fine of 100% of the tour fee will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
