City Tour "Trinidad"
Trinidad is the third village founded in Cuba, it has a socio-cultural and economic history treasured for more than five centuries. In this tour on foot for the streets of their historical center we will be able to know as it passed the life in this city in past centuries until the present time, as well as their architectural wealth and the cultures that converged in the town.
Details of your trip:
- Departure from the city centre.
- The tour begins with a visit to the Model of the City, where you will receive a brief explanation about the location of the town within our island
- Transfer on foot to the foundation square (Plaza del Jigüe). During this tour we will explain aspects related to the predominant architecture in the town, conservation of the buildings, customs of the first inhabitants until the present ones.
- From Plaza del Jigüe we will visit the "Canchánchara", a tavern where you can taste the typical drink of the city.
- We will go to the Plaza Mayor where we will describe its history, as well as that of the surrounding buildings. Here we suggest a visit to one of the museums included in the tour.
- Free time to visit some of the cultural centres in the historical centre (Casa de la Música, Casa de la Trova, Palenque de los Congos Reales).
- Time for shopping.
