Description of the excursion:
In the Protected Area Reserva Ecológica "Cayería Norte" is Paradise Island. Its natural features are composed of formations of coastal thickets, mangrove forests, rocky and sandy coast vegetation complex, beaches and marine landscapes, highlighting the coral reefs. Among the fauna associated with the place can be seen pelicans, gulls, coracias, sevillas and other migratory birds; also having a wide variety of resident species such as jutía, iguana, etc. El Cayo has a well-preserved mangrove showing its paths for tours where the client interacts with natural values and attributes. You can enjoy the beautiful beach and relax time in the hammocks under the coconut trees.
- Pick up at the Varadero hotel.
- Boat trip to Cayo Romero. Reception of the group in the Marina and transfer to Isla Paraíso, open bar with Cuban cocktails included.
- Snorkeling at the coral reef.
- Welcome at the Visitors Center (Welcome cocktail).
- Exhibition by the local guide of the conservation project that takes place in the Cayo, relying on the panels shown there.
- Tour of the Nature Trail and the Birdwatching, Jutias and Iguana Footbridge.
- Walk along the natural path to observe the endemic flora and fauna of the Cayo and explain in situ the research work that is carried out and the management of the area. - Lunch at the marinera. (Menu: Cookies and butter, consomme of the sea, fruit, vegetables, seafood cocktail, seafood rice and enchilado seafood, grilled fish, cold salads, desserts (ice cream, sweets), coffee and natural juices.)
- Free time. Bath on the beach, rest in hammocks, relaxing time.
- Return to Varadero (4:00 pm)
