Scuba Diving Tour in Bahía de Cochinos
The diving in the open sea, in cenotes and caves flooded with brackish water linked to the Espeleolacustre system of the Ciénaga de Zapata, as well as multilevel diving, constitute the exclusivity of this area. The dives are made directly from the coast, where corals of elk, brain, corals of leaves, corals of stars, fans of sea, as well as varied species of fish appear immediately. When arriving at the veril near 100 m of the coast another great attraction appears, the abrupt wall with depths of up to 80 m and more, where sponges, gorgonians and large corals are found.
The Zapata Peninsula is considered one of the most beautiful areas for diving in Cuba, for its sea bottoms and caverns. It is located to the south of the province of Matanzas being one of the most peculiar geographical areas of the country. This diving area can be used throughout the year, since it is sheltered from the bad weather conditions brought by the northern cold fronts during the winter season. Its special charm is due to the large colonies of different types of coral, in which black coral is abundant; wide variety of sponges with yellow, violet or orange color, with barrel, tubular, basket and cup shapes. Also, there is a variety of marine flora, large gorgonians and abundant tropical fish. But the true singularity of Playa Girón are its wrecks as well, from the practice of cave diving in cenotes and flooded caves, its vertical walls of more than 40 meters.
The service includes diving equipment, air tank, belt with weights, the assistance of an internationally certified instructor guide, who will do a briefing of dive to be made, and the use of the bus that leads from the dive center to dive sites.

If due to bad weather the Boat cannot leave the Diving Area; prior notification from the Maritime Safety and Meteorology Party, the agency will communicate with the clients, in each CIB and will not refund the value paid for the Dives not carried out, if during the Client's period of stay, in the International Diving Center Weather conditions improve and time permits, every effort will be made to compensate customers with complementary dives left to run. • Your reservation will always be a CONFIRMED RESERVATION, you will only have to get to the departure point on the day of your excursion, at the time with the number of people who declare in the VOUCHER of the RESERVE option. Cancellation policy
• If canceled up to 72 hours before the moment of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion price will be applied. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the excursion departure time, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fee will be applied. • Please note that cancellation within 24 hours and until the moment of the enjoyment of the excursion, and in case of no-show (no-show), 100% of the price of the excursion is discounted. • Observation: administrative costs and credit card surcharges cannot be returned in case of cancellation.
