A truly unique experience awaits you at Rancho Vista Hermosa, located just 20 minutes from the city of Havana. For the past 4 years, this diversified natural farm has played a vital role in the Granja a la Mesa Mediterraneo-Havana project, as the main supplier of fresh local ingredients for the restaurant.
We invite you to learn about our experience in using organic methods to grow vegetables and raise animals as you walk through the farm. Enjoy a beautiful country setting while savoring a delicious lunch prepared with fresh ingredients.
Finca Vista Hermosa is synonymous with authentic Creole food, fresh fruits, fresh air and agrotourism excursion. This space that opens from the warmth of the Cuban land and the warmth of the sun that awaits you in its fields, are pretexts to gather friends and enjoy a horseback ride, an agricultural talk or the varied tasting offered by the mini-industry that has a variety of cheeses and sausages. This new proposal offers the possibility of enjoying a morning or afternoon tour, with lunch or dinner, for more than 10 people, always with previous reservation. The agricultural and ecological farm Vista Hermosa is located in the municipality of Guanabacoa in the rural town of Bacuranao, only 25 minutes from the Rest Mediterráneo Hav, catalogued as the only Rest in the capital De La Granja A La Mesa (Farm To Table). This category has earned it several awards for excellence in healthy food, as 80% of the products on the menu come from the farm, which makes it naturally different and has a unique flavor thanks to the mastery of Italian chef Luigi Fiori, who combines the Mediterranean with local products.
Description:
- Pick up by jeep or specialized car at the desired location.
- Exclusive possibility of having during the trip the driving and accompaniment of a specialized guide who will encourage and explain the beauty of the environment, our Cuban flora and fauna, which you will appreciate along the way.
- Arrival at the Vista Hermosa farm, where you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail of natural production, typical of the farm.
- Afterwards, an informative opening contact will be offered, where the characteristics of the tourist destination will be described.
- Tour of the livestock farm where you will be able to appreciate the different types of goat breeding and the process of elaboration of 4 types of cheese and charcuterie.
- Transfer by trail or by a small mountain in a wagon, with capacity for 15 people, towed by a tractor, being able to make the transfer also on foot, on horseback or using the jeep of the excursion.
- Arrival at the agricultural entity where you will be able to appreciate the different vegetable crops.
- Transfer for lunch at the Mediterraneo restaurant, a restaurant that uses the products produced by the farm for its gastronomic presentations.
- Return to the client's lodging destination
TIPS: • Recommended: Light clothing, sunglasses, water and light meals with sweet and protein, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots and sandals, other protective for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle.
• The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements. • Minimum pax for the tour: 1 Pax. • This tour operates with a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip. • The Jeep must be shared with other tourist (4 pax / jeep). • Those who wish to drive must bring the driving licence. • The jeeps have Standard Transmission.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
