Program Details
The Elqui Valley, located in the region of Coquimbo, is one of the places that most attracts the attention of the country for its natural beauty. Thanks to the climatic conditions, the best piscos are produced here and it is the ideal scenario for astronomical research. It is also the birthplace of one of the greatest poets of Latin America: Gabriela Mistral.
Details of her trip:
- Departure from La Serena, towards the Elqui Valley where we will pass through picturesque villages of the zonay vineyards and papaya plantations, typical fruit of the area.
- First stop Puclaro Reservoir.
- We leave for La Vicuña, birthplace of the Nobel Prize winning poetess, Gabriela Mistral.
- Arrival to Montegrande where we will have a meditation and relaxation session at the Zen Art Gallery.
- Visit to the Tomb of Gabriela Mistral.
- We will visit the church, the plaza and the Pisco Elqui Artisan Plant.
- We continue to the Mamalluca Tourist Observatory, where apart from receiving talks on astronomy from specialists, you can observe the night sky.
- Return to the Hotel.
This tour is only offered in collective modality and in Spanish language, the rest of the languages are made by means of the private modality
