"LA SERENA & COQUIMBO" CITY TOUR
La Serena, historical and heritage city, capital of the Coquimbo Region, was founded in 1544 and is the second oldest city in Chile, after Santiago.
Coquimbo is a port city located in the IV° Region of Chile. It is characterized by being surrounded by beaches such as Tongoy, Las Tacas and La Serena.
Details of your trip:
- Departure from La Serena towards Coquimbo, visiting La Herradura beach and its viewpoint from where we can admire beautiful views of the city's bay.
- We will visit the Third Millennium Cross, a true icon of the Christian faith in Chile, and then the Barrio Inglés, of great architectural beauty, located in the heart of the city.
- Departure to La Serena by the Avenida del Mar.
- We will walk through the historical center, visit the market of La Recova, an emblematic place of La Serena, a market located in the historical center of the city and has a bit of everything. We will pass by the cathedral and the town hall and end up at the viewpoint of the University of La Serena for a nice view of the city.
- At the end, return to the hotel.
