“Tradition and Nature” Tour
Perfect excursion for lovers of flora and fauna.
Itinerary
- Departure by car or taxi from Viñales to the Site of Hell
- We start the walk along the roads near this community up to the mountain, you will be able to observe the pig breeding as well as the different crops of the local farmers. See the endemic flora and fauna of the mountains that will undoubtedly attract your attention.
- We will visit the place where the aquatics (people who believe in the use of water to cure their illnesses) live. In this place you will be able to learn about surprising stories from the protagonist.
- We continue the tour to the Hoyo de los Negros, where you will be able to contemplate varieties of cactus, philodendrons, jagüeyes, bromeliads and the endemic vegetation of the place.
- To conclude we visit a tobacco plantation to learn about the traditions of this crop in the area. We visit the crops, the tobacco dryer and the house, we drink a creole coffee and we observe the making of an authentic tobacco, which we can share with the producer.

Note: This excursion is made depending on the weather, since in the rainy season it is quite difficult and somewhat dangerous.
Option: At the end of the excursion, lunch will be served in an agro-ecological farm, a unique place for its beauty and quality of food, where all the fruits, tubers and vegetables are grown naturally. Price of lunch: 10 CUC per person.
Very important note: The excursion without transportation included, the customer must pay an extra local transportation supplement to move within Viñales and access the sites to visit, distant from each other. 1 to 3 pax: 10.00 cuc (per car), 4 to 6 pax: 20.00 cuc (per car), 7 to 9 pax: 30.00 cuc (per car).
TIPS: • Light clothing, sunglasses, water and light meals with sweet and protein, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots or sandals to cross, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.

Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
