“Discovering Cárdenas and his Firstfruits in Classic Cars” Tour
Description:
- Departure at 08:00 from Servicentro Oro Negro in Santa Marta.
- Transfer by classic car to the city of Cárdenas located 20 kms from Varadero.
- City tour in traditional horse carriage with additional cost of 5.00 cuc x car.
- Guided tour through the main streets of the city, visit to the Christopher Columbus Monument and the Bicycle Monument.
- Visit to the José Antonio Echeverría Park where you can if you wish take a Bicitaxi with an additional cost of 5.00 cuc x person to visit the monument where the Cuban flag was first raised.
- Visit to a National Agricultural Market and a supply warehouse.
- Optional visit not included with an additional cost of 5.00 cuc x person to the cultural agricultural project of Finca Coincidencias located near the town of Jovellanos where you can see a collection of plants, fruit trees, exotic plants and optional fishing in a river. You will visit the handicraft workshop where ceramic works are exhibited for the Fire Festival event held every year at the Finca. You will be able to taste Moringa tea with high nutritional properties different types of fruits that are offered in the restaurant of the Finca.
- Visit to a sugar cane plantation to learn about the process of harvesting sugar and tasting the juice of the sugar cane.
- Arrival to Varadero at 14.00 hrs.
Customer pick up location: Servicentro Oro Negro de Santa Marta, Varadero, Matanzas, Cuba.
Important note: Entrance fees to museums, places of interest and tourist attractions, restaurants (meals), bars (beverages) and tips, among others, are not included in the price of the tour and require an extra charge at the discretion of the customer.
This experience will take place in a classic Oldsmobile 1950, with air conditioning and a professional driver and guide in English, French and Dutch.
TIPS: • Recommended: Light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, water and light meals with sweet and protein, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots and sandals, other protective for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle.
Pick-ups can be delayed by up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The customer should inquire at the sales desk to avoid any discrepancies.
This tour operates without a minimum number of passengers. Holiadventure will reconfirm you 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the supplier decides to cancel, Holiadventure will offer you an alternative excursion or refund the cost of your excursion in full.
Cancellation Policy • In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
