“ARCOIRIS VALLEY” TOUR

Travel to the Arcoiris Valley, one of the most amazing places in Chile with mountains of different colors and visit Yerbas Buenas, an area that contains a wealth of archaeological sites based on rock art and panels engraved on rocks with petroglyphs that invite you to a trip to the past.

Rio Grande The town is characterized by its houses armed with walls of carved stones joined with mud, thatched roofs and mud with beams of cactus wood and carob tree.

Details of your trip:

  • Departure from San Pedro de Atacama hotel towards the Domeyko mountain range.
  • Visit to Yerbas Buenas, place where the most important group of petroglyphs of the region is located.
  • We will cross Matancilla to reach the Arcoíris Valley, a place where the mountain range takes on different colors thanks to its mineral content.
  • We conclude the trip in the town of Rio Grande, a pre-Cordilleran village with typical constructions of adobe, mud and stone.
  • Return to the hotel.
