“MONJES DE LA PACANA” TOUR
The MONJES DE LA PACANA are imposing vertical stone formations found in the Salar de Aguas Calientes. These beautiful rock formations, with volcanic characteristics, were shaped over millions of years by wind erosion. Lunar formations, strange, capricious, are some of the expressions that one has when seeing the Monks of the Pacana.
Details of their journey:
- Departure from San Pedro de Atacama to the Jama Pass.
- The road to the Monks of the Pacana goes through old places of shepherding of llamas, where animals are usually seen feeding.
- Arrival to the Pacana Monks.
- Return to the Hotel.
