Jeep Safari "Nature Tour to La Gran Piedra"
Large volcanic breccia rock, 51 meters long and 25 to 30 meters wide, with an estimated weight of 63,000 tons is located on top of a mountain at 1,225 meters above sea level. Natural viewpoint from where the Sierra Maestra can be observed.
The legends of its origin include versions that attribute its formation to the impact of a meteorite that fell millions of years ago in the aforementioned eastern territory, although the most truthful is the one that considers its birth due to the explosion of an underwater volcano. It is currently considered a National Monument.
