"SUGAR, TOBACCO AND RUM" Tour
Our Group proposes panoramic tours of the most significant sites in Cuban history, culture and contemporary life. So this is a treat for those seeking some vacation adventures on their Cuba holiday tour.
Description:
- Pick up at the hotels with a specialized guide in the language of the clients.
- Transfer to the city of Remedios,
- Visit to the Museum of the Sugar Industry. You will learn about the importance of the sugar industry for the country, exhaustive explanation, demonstration of the burning of the storage barrel and aging of alcohol.
- Transfer by steam locomotive train to the city of Remedios,
- Visit to the Remedios Tobacco Factory and observation of the manufacturing process.
- City tour of the city of Remedios,
- Visit to the specialized store Los Tres Reyes, where you will enjoy a coffee in a strainer as an interactive class for its elaboration.
- Transfer to the Finca La Cabaña where you will have a brief tour of the farm, where you will observe the activity of the topping of palmiche.
- Lunch at El Curujey restaurant. Each participant will be given a souvenir consisting of a bottle of Habana Club rum.
- Return to the hotel.

- This tour operates with a minimum of 8 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the supplier decides to cancel because the minimum number of passengers is not reached, Holiplus will offer you an alternative excursion or will refund the cost of your excursion in full.
Cancellation and no show policy:
• Cancellations more than 72 hours before the tour: No penalty applies. • Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the tour: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies. • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies. • NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
