“Sugar“ Tour
Sugar production in Cuba is a legend and tradition, for centuries it has been a fundamental basis of its economy. Get to know this fascinating world in the middle of the rural area.
Itinerary
- Collection from hotels with tour guide service in various languages.
- Visit to the old sugar mill "Jose Smith Comas".
- Tasting of "Guarapo", a typical drink made from sugar cane juice
- Welcome and tour inside the old factory, where machines and equipment that were used in the process of obtaining cane sugar are exhibited.
- Tourist car ride in a steam locomotive from the beginning of the 20th century.
- City Tour to the city of Cardenas, visit to the Oscar Maria de Rojas Museum and free time in Jose A. Echeverria Square.
- Return to Varadero
