"Ciego Ávila, Spectacular" Tour
Ciego de Ávila, is located in the central area of the island. It is a city where the presence of running portals and neoclassical columns define the image of the city, that is why it is known as the city of portals.
The municipality of Morón, founded in 1643, is known as the "City of the Rooster" because of a verse about this animal that continued to sing after being plucked. It is located in the north of the province Ciego de Avila, under leafy vegetation and beautiful beaches and, despite its somewhat remote location, is an important transport hub. In addition in his cayería it is nailed one of the most important tourist poles of the country. At the entrance of the city is its symbol, a bronze monument of the Rooster of Morón, made by the artist Rita Longa in 1982.
