"El Cobre Church + Fern Garden" Tour
On this tour you will experience Cuba's most famous church, El Cobre, which holds the image of the Virgin of Charity inside. Under the Camarín de la Virgen is the so-called Capilla de los Milagros (Chapel of Miracles), where the faithful, believers and pilgrims deposit objects that they offer to the Virgin in the form of thanks for her favors. There you can see objects of all kinds, some of great value, from a Nobel Prize, to military trophies, Olympic medals, jewelry and precious stones. The famous Fern Garden is a paradisiacal place with its own microclimate, specialized in the cultivation of several varieties of ferns, some endemic to the country and others exotic. This garden, specialized in ferns, is unique in Cuba and is considered the second in number of species in America. It is also the only open air garden and is recognized worldwide.
Program:
- Transportation by taxi or air-conditioned bus with specialized guide service.
- Visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of Charity of El Cobre and enjoy the cultural and historical landscape of the mines of El Cobre.
- Transfer and visit to the Fern Garden.
- Return to the hotels.
