"Roots and Revolution" Tour
Description of the tour:
- Departure from Santiago by taxi or air-conditioned bus to the Granjita Siboney Museum.
- Attention of specialized guide.
- Visit to the Granjita Siboney. Historical site from where the assailants of the Moncada Barracks departed.
- Visit to the 26 de Julio Museum, former Moncada Barracks and the Palace of Justice (panoramic). Cuartel Moncada, is a teaching building, formerly a military barracks. It acquired historical relevance on July 26th, 1953 when a group of 135 guerrillas commanded by Fidel Castro, Raul Castro and Abel Santamaria carried out the assault on it.
- Visit to the Abel Santamaría Cuadrado Museum.
- Return to the hotel.
