Excursion "Special swim with dolphins in Varadero"
In the vicinity of a beautiful coastal lake, about 12 kilometers from the entrance to the Varadero resort, there is one of the most visited dolphinariums in the country. Thirteen bottlenose dolphins live here, eleven of which were born in this very spot. The almost familiar relationship that the trainers have with the dolphins stands out, as well as their ample experience in protecting the flora and fauna, which has favored the fact that the site is also populated by doves, pelicans, iguanas and a wide variety of vegetation.
Among the sessions preferred by the public is the swim with the dolphins, it is a very safe entertainment, because it is done with specimens prepared specifically for this activity, and under the supervision of the trainers.
In Cuba the dolphinariums, besides being tourist centers, are also considered as venues for environmental preservation projects and a place of reproduction of dolphins and sea lions. Trainers, doctors and all the personnel in charge of these mammals, implement a reproduction program that aims at birth and future breeding. They are an environmentally friendly option that, in addition to the fun, promotes the knowledge of these fascinating species.

- Visit to the dolphinarium and enjoy the specialized swim, where the client will experience a pure coexistence in the water with the dolphins, in which a group of interactive exercises of great attraction will be developed, like jumps, acrobatics of the dolphins and others, with an approximate duration of 30 minutes.

TIPS: • Light clothing, swimsuit, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes and photographic camera.
• The vessel to be used will be based on the availability of the Navy and the number of participating clients.
• All customers must wear the life jacket and follow the instructions of the coaches, which will be given before the start of the activity.
• Given the operating characteristics of this activity and the reduced capacity in each session, only customers with a bathroom will be sold, there is no price for companions.
• Children between 7-12 years of age will bathe with their parents and under the conditions indicated by the coaches in charge of bathing with the dolphins.
