Nature Tour "Baracoa Overnight"
Baracoa is the oldest city in Cuba for being the first town founded by the Spaniards on August 15, 1511, at the beginning of the colonization of the island in the 16th century, under the name of Villa de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Baracoa (Our Lady of the Assumption of Baracoa). Declared a National Monument, the city is bathed by the Miel River and among its natural attractions are the Toa River, the Yumurí River and the Yunque de Baracoa.
Day 1
- Departure by Jeep from hotel to Baracoa.
- Panoramic tour of the city of Guantanamo.
- Short stop at Alto de Cotilla to observe the vegetation that covers our beautiful mountains.
- Lunch at Rancho Toa.
- Boat ride on the Toa River and in the afternoon city tour to enjoy its history and colonial architecture.
- Overnight in a hotel in the city.
- Overnight at leisure.
Day 2:
- Departure to El Cacao trail and lunch at Maguana Beach.
- Visit to the Piedra Zoo in Yateras.
- Continuation of the trip through the Alejandro de Humboldt Park.
- Arrival to the city of Santiago de Cuba.
TIPS: • Light clothing, confortables shoes, sunglasses, cap, solar protection and photographic camera.
• The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements.
• The Jeep must be shared with other tourist (4 pax / jeep).
