Jeep Safari “Nature Tour to the La Plata Command Headquarters”
Comandancia General de la Plata, located in the heart of the Sierra Maestra, in the municipality of Bartolome Masó, Granma province, is part of the Great "Turquino" National Park. The highest leadership of the Cuban Revolution resided there until the final months of the revolutionary struggle. Its facilities served as shelter to the most important figures of the Rebel Army, as well as to countless soldiers and collaborators of the Revolution.

- Departure from the city of Santiago de Cuba.
- Panoramic tour through the cities of Contramaestre, Bayamo and several towns until reaching the Bartolomé Masó Municipality. We begin steep ascents and descents through the Sierra Maestra, where you will enjoy the steepest slope in Cuba with 45⁰ of inclination.
- Arrival at the Alto del Naranjo, where you will receive information about the route and the different places of interest in the area.
- Beginning of the trekking towards the Comandancia de la Plata, discovering the flora and fauna of our country.
- Return of 3km to the Alto del Naranjo.
- Arrival to Villa Santo Domingo for lunch.
- Lunch at Villa Santo Domingo with a liquid included.
- Refreshing bath in the margins of the river near the hotel Santo Domingo.
