Hotel Velasco is part of the Hotel E (Encanto) brand, a project that aims to create modernised and well-equipped accommodation options in urban areas, while preserving the local historical and architectural heritage. Recently renovated, and located about 45 km from Varadero beach, Hotel Velasco is a cozy 1920s building with a very distinctive style, in the heart of the city of Matanzas.

From an architectural and historical point of view, it is a valuable and impressive place, and without a doubt one of the local landmarks, combining different styles. During the remodeling, precious materials such as fine woods, granite and marble have been used to recover the old grandeur of the hotel.
