The Costa Sur is in María Aguilar beach, in the fishing town Casilda and only at 12 kilometers from the village of the Holy Trinity. It has 131 double rooms, 72 of those standard, 39 in a 3 floors block in front of the sea and 20 in a cabin format with mini-bar service; all with private bathroom and TV.

Among the main touristic destinations of the area is the mythical Trinidad, beautiful city that possesses the distinction of Cultural Heritage of Humanity and is full of history and tradition showed in every colonial house and street made of stones. You can also visit Topes de Collante, small town placed in Sierra del Escambray and famous as a center of rest and recovery from breathing illnesses. It is also part of a big natural park with an amazing water fall, the Caburní. At short distance from the hotel is the Ancón peninsula, with fine white sands and one of the most crystalline beaches in the south coast of Cuba.

The options for having fun in the hotel are many. The principal ones are the practice of nautical sports such as snorkeling and scuba diving. There are 2 pools, a natural one for adults with 600 meters and another one for children. You´ll be able to practice sports in a soccer field, a tennis field or volleyball with a net in the beach. Also there can be rented table games like Ping-Pong, billiards, dominoes, chess and others. After an intense day, professionals with wonderful hands will eliminate any trouble in your body with relaxing massages. The Arrecife, with capacity for 140 diners, offers a buffet menu with 3 meals every day and national and international plates with a regional touch. The Lina is open for 40 people in its acclimatized room and the same quantity in a lovely terrace, it is specialized in recipes based in fish and shellfish; it also has a diversity of Italian plates.

The excursions to Cayo Blanco will keep you in touch with the nature. There stands out a very interesting fauna: the Cuban iguana, different birds and in the sea ornamental fish with intense colors and some species in extinction danger like the black coral in highly developed reefs. In the proximities of the hotel can be also seen the reefs and a colony of sea sponges.
